Almighty God in Heaven, I lift up this marriage to you.  You are the only one true God.  Thank you for Jesus who is her Wonderful Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace.  May the grace of our Lord Jesus be with this couple.  I thank you that those things which they have  both learned and received and heard and seen in You, may they do, and the God of peace shall be with them. Let the peace of God rule in her heart to that which she is called in one body and she be thankful.  Lord give her strength and bless them with peace.   Thank you that they are careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving they have let their requests be made known unto you God.  And the peace of God, which passes all understanding shall keep their hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  May the husband love Christ and may he love his wife as Christ loved the Church.  Thank you that she will be submitted to her husband as unto the Lord.  Let him love his wife as he loves himself and the wife may she reverence her husband.  Thank you that she will love her husband as she loves Christ and as Christ loves her. Thank you that they love each other according to God’s definition of love.  Thank you that they will be kind to one another.  Thank you that they will be gentle with one another.   Thank you that they will not be envious.  Thank you that they don’t boast and are not proud.  Thank you that they are not rude and self-seeking.  Thank you that they are not easily angered and keep no records of wrong.  Thank you that they do not delight in evil, but they rejoice with the truth.  Thank you that they always protect each other.  Thank you that they will trust each other.  Thank you that they always hope and perseveres.  Thank you that they know love never fails.  Thank you that they will not let the sun go down while they are still angry.  Thank you that they get rid of all bitterness, rage, and anger brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.  Thank you that they know there is therefore no condemnation in Christ Jesus.
